We are looking for a Mid-Level Business Development Officer to help grow our customer base and drive revenue through strong sales execution and relationship management. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in business development/sales, with a preference for IT/technology domain exposure and/or IT graduates with sales and marketing experience.

1. Mentoring, Guidance & Sales Target Ownership (20%)
Along with driving your own sales performance, you will guide and mentor other Business Development Officers to strengthen team execution and help the company meet sales targets.
- Guide & Mentor BD Team: Support BD officers with practical guidance on prospecting, outreach, demo handling, negotiation, and closing.
- Share Your Experience: Share your experience with other BDO & lead generation team on what works—sales approaches, pitch structures, objection handling, follow-up strategy, and pipeline best practices—using your real field experience.
- Enable Independent Sales Execution: Help team members learn how to build their own sales strategies using the knowledge and frameworks you share.
2.Field Prospecting & Lead Generation (60% Field):
- Market Visits & Survey: Actively visit commercial hubs, industries, service centers, retail boutiques, and local business clusters to identify prospective clients.
- In-Person Meetings: Fix appointments and walk directly into client premises to introduce our product and custom software services to business owners and decision-makers.
- Product Demos: Conduct live, engaging product demonstrations highlighting key features of our products or ideas that we think can help businesses to grow.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term professional relationships with business communities.
3. Desk Work, Follow-ups & Closing (20% Desk):
- Cold Calling & Email Outreach: Initiate cold calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and email outreach based on digital research and daily field leads.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an updated sales pipeline (CRM/Google Sheets), tracking lead status, scheduled demos, follow-up dates, and closing timelines daily.
- Persistent Follow-up: Execute consistent, strategic follow-ups via phone, email, and WhatsApp to keep prospects engaged through the sales funnel.
- Pitching & Deal Closing: Prepare tailored quotes/proposals, negotiate pricing plans, address client objections, and finalize legal service contracts/agreements.
- Handover & Onboarding: Coordinate with the technical and onboarding team to ensure a seamless transition for newly signed merchants.
